Exceptional DREAMS is a Colorado-based nonprofit supporting children, families, and educators through inclusive, strength-based approaches to learning and support.
The mission of Exceptional DREAMS is to support gifted, special needs, twice-exceptional, and all neurodiverse students by connecting them to diverse resources, advocacy, and mentorship that help create environments where every mind can thrive.
Exceptional DREAMS primarily serves students and their families who are identified as, or suspected to be, neurodiverse, gifted, having special needs, or being twice or multi-exceptional. In doing so, we believe this helps the community at large as we act as a bridge between educators, schools, families, and other community partners.
The D.R.E.A.M.S. framework is the foundation of Exceptional DREAMS. It reflects our belief that students thrive when their strengths are recognized, their voices are valued, and their individuality is honored. Like many of our students, it is multifaceted and our services, supports, and ideas are born from this framework.
By putting students at the center and surrounding them with mentorship, advocacy, and diverse resources, we help create pathways where every child can pursue their passions, follow their dreams, and realize their potential.
By sharing this model widely, we hope to create a greater understanding of the needs, desires, and abilities of neurodiverse individuals — creating a more inclusive and efficient environment for everyone.
While the D.R.E.A.M.S. framework gives us a clear foundation for our decisions, we also recognize that our understanding is always growing. We stay open to feedback, new perspectives, and evolving best practices so that we can live these principles more fully in our day-to-day work with students, families, and partners.
Services and supports can change over time and may look different for each family, student, or educator. When someone needs help finding the right path, Exceptional DREAMS can provide guidance, connect them with mentors, and help them locate programs, services, and supports that fit their goals. We also work to share knowledge, advocate for access, and look out for the best interests of the students and families we serve.

Exceptional DREAMS connects students, families, and educators to curated resources, practical tools, and community insights. From strategies that support learning to shared experiences from our network of mentors and families, our goal is to create a space where every mind can thrive.
Every student deserves to be recognized for their unique brilliance. You can help make that possible by joining our community — whether as a supporter, mentor, or advocate. Something as simple as answering the burning question in a curious child's mind may be the catalyst to growth.
